In the Midst of Invention
This section of the journal is dedicated to innovative papers that focus on practices and ideas that are in the very midst of invention. It is our hope that author/innovators will use this space to give readers an account of how it is that they are extending contemporary narrative therapy practices and ideas by taking them into novel contexts and territories. We are hopeful that such accounts will: (1) tell the story of the ‘moment of invention’ that propelled them to take up narrative practices and ideas in ways that they would not have otherwise considered, (2) provide a description of their particular innovation of narrative therapy practices and ideas, (3) offer a brief report of promising outcomes, and (4) explore the unexplored by inviting others to consider ways to extend this practice into new and uncharted territories.
